The Lambretta LD is a classic scooter that holds a special place in the history of scooter design. Produced by the Italian company Innocenti between 1947 and 1953, the LD was one of the first models to truly define the post-war scooter craze. Its sleek, rounded lines and compact frame made it an instant hit with urban commuters and enthusiasts alike. The LD was powered by a 125cc, two-stroke engine, which provided a good balance of speed and fuel efficiency, making it ideal for both city and rural environments. Notably, the Lambretta LD was one of the first scooters to feature a fully enclosed body, a design element that was both stylish and practical, offering better protection against the elements.
